Heyen Lawn Service
Privacy policy
What this website collects, why, and who it goes to. Including the part where it records how you use it.
What this website collects, and where it goes
This page covers the Heyen Lawn Service website. It is written in plain English rather than legal language, and it says only what we can actually stand behind.
What the form collects. There is one form on this site, the quote request. It asks for your name, your email address, your phone number, the address of the property and a message describing what you need doing. You choose what to put in it. If you would rather not use it at all, calling (765) 820-8629 does the same job.
Where that information goes. The form is not built into this website. It is an embedded form hosted by a third-party system at link.945studios.site, which is operated by the marketing provider that runs this site for Heyen Lawn Service. When you press submit, what you typed is stored in that system and passed to Heyen Lawn Service so somebody can respond to you.
What it is used for. Quoting the work, scheduling it, and replying to you about it. That is the whole purpose. It is not sold, and it is not rented or traded to anybody for advertising.
Other things on the page that are not ours. This site embeds a Google Map, loads its typeface from Google Fonts, and links out to a Google Business Profile and a Facebook page. Loading an embed means your browser contacts that company directly, so Google receives your IP address and normal browser information when the map and the font load. What those companies then do with it is governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.
Cookies, and the fact that we measure your visit. This website does set cookies, and it does collect data about how you use it. The next section says exactly what collects what and where it goes. The embedded third-party content described above, the quote form and the Google map, may also set cookies of its own, and that is controlled by those providers. There is no cookie consent banner on this site, so nothing here is waiting on you to agree to it.
Changing your mind. If you have sent a quote request and want it removed, call (765) 820-8629 and ask. It is a small business and a phone call reaches the person who can do it.
Contacting us about this page. Heyen Lawn Service, 4025 N Arms Pl, West Terre Haute, IN 47885. Phone (765) 820-8629.
If this changes. If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it. There is no separate archive of previous versions.
One honest note. This is a plain description of how a small lawn care business handles the handful of details you send it through a website. It is not legal advice and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
We collect data about how you use this site
That sentence is the honest headline, so it goes first rather than last. Three separate tools record what visitors do on this website. Here is each one, what it captures, and who ends up holding it.
Microsoft Clarity. This site uses Microsoft Clarity, a product of Microsoft, to understand how people actually use the pages. Clarity records the pages you view and the order you move through them, what you click and tap, how far down each page you scroll, how your mouse moves across the screen, and your general interaction behavior. It turns that into heatmaps, which show where visitors as a group click and how far they read, and into session recordings, which are playbacks of how one individual visit moved through the page. It sets cookies in your browser to do this, including ones named _clck and _clsk. What it records is sent to Microsoft and processed by Microsoft, under Microsoft's own privacy terms rather than under this page. Microsoft's privacy statement is at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Google Analytics. This site also runs Google Analytics, which counts visits and reports how people arrived, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are. It sets cookies too, one of them named _ga. That data goes to Google and is handled under Google's privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy.
The website platform's own visitor counter. The system that hosts and publishes this site runs a visitor tracker of its own. It stores an identifier in your browser's storage rather than in a cookie, and sends the address of each page you open, plus the page you came from, to that platform's servers.
Where these come from. All three are added by the platform that publishes this website rather than being typed into the pages themselves. That distinction makes no difference to you: they load and run in your browser when you open the site, and this page treats them as ours to disclose either way.
What this page will not tell you, because we do not know it. How long Microsoft or Google keep any of it. Neither has told us for this website, and inventing a number would be worse than admitting the gap. This site also offers no opt-out switch of its own and shows no consent banner. Blocking this kind of measurement is something a browser setting or an extension can do, and that sits outside this website's control.
What none of it is for. None of this is sold, rented or traded. It exists so the people running this site can see which pages are read, which are ignored, and where somebody trying to get a quote gets stuck.
Rather just call?
Nothing on this site has to be filled in to get a quote.
